SENSITIVE SAMPLE PREPARATION

ThermELUTE Light

The ThermELUTE Light is ideal for mycotoxin analysis in various food and feed samples due to its offline thermal elution process, to achieve high analytical sensitivity, and eco-friendly operation without harmful solvents.

Products for mycotoxin analysis:

    Smart Mycotoxin Clean-up

    with ThermELUTE Light

ThermELUTE Light & SMART IAC are compatible with the FREESTYLE CrossTOX device and allows water-based elution in an Offline mode, compatible with HPLC-FLD or LC-MS/MS to achieve highly sensitive analysis of mycotoxins.

    • Water based elution (no sample dilution prior to injection)
    • Faster processing of sample cleanup and elution
    • By downscaling of sample volume and parallel elution of up to 8 samples
    • Optional high-volume injection to achieve higher analytical sensitivity
    • Applicable to other analytical technologies (ELISA, fluorometrical analysis)
LCTech - ThemELUTE Light - Flyer

    • Increased sensitivity (suitable for baby food levels)
    • Reproducible results
    • Eco friendly sample processing due to saving of solvents and reduction of toxic waste
    • Offline processing maintains flexible use of analytical devices
    • Affordable at all labs

    Unique: Thermal Denaturation

ThermELUTE Light uses a water-based thermal denaturation process to release aflatoxins (B/G/M) and ochratoxin A from immune affinity cartridges—without the need for harmful solvents. By heating SMART cartridges to 98°C, antibody becomes denatured releasing efficiently the analytes directly into the positioned elution vial. - Ready to inject, no further sample dilution or solvent addition necessary.

This manual, offline process ensures the compatibility with HPLC-FLD, LC-MS/MS, ELISA and other detection technologies. ThermELUTE Light offers a simple and accelerated solution for laboratories streamlining mycotoxin sample cleanup processes.

    Clever and SMART

SMART cartridges combined with ThermELUTE Light allow high sensitivity with minimal effort—ideal for all labs or campaign-based testing. or to provide flexibility in analytical devices for various application.

ThermELUTE Light achieves high sample throughput by utilizing SMART cartridges, each designed for fast and efficient mycotoxin clean-up. With a compact design and downscaled volumes, these cartridges enable accelerated processing—reducing both sample and reagent consumption, as well as overall processing time.

Each sample is purified with a dedicated SMART cartridge, ensuring consistent high performance and eliminating the risk of cross-contamination. The linear miniaturization of the entire purification process delivers more reliable results in less effort, less waste and saving time.

    ppt Sensitivity Without Additional Steps

With ThermELUTE Light, users can reliably achieve excellent sensitivity, meeting and exceeding European regulatory limits, even for challenging matrices like baby food—without requiring additional process steps or special measures.

    High sensitivity is ensured by:

    • "Ready to inject" - larger injection volumes (up to 100 µL or more*) without compromising chromatography resolution or data quality.
    • Water-based elution, eliminating the need for solvent exchange or phase adaptation for HPLC analysis.
    • Minimized handling steps, preventing internal errors by further manual processing / evaporation.
    • Compatibility to HPLC-FLD or LC-MS/MS without compromising the analytical flexibility of the detection device as this is the case for online processing automated processes.
    • Compatibility to all food and feed application with SMART cartridges

    Testing Results

    Recovery of Aflatoxins from Peanut

    • Spiked samples 1-20 ppb were investigated

    • Recovery according to compliance of AOAC method was observed, recovery aflatoxin G2, G1, B2, B1 > 90 % at all spiking levels.
