Advanced Automation Technologies (AAT), a global leader in laboratory automation backed by Battery Ventures, has agreed to acquire GERSTEL GmbH & Co. KG, a German company specializing in automated solutions for gas and liquid chromatography. GERSTEL’s innovative systems enhance precision and efficiency in industries like environmental testing, food and beverage, forensics, and fragrance.
This acquisition strengthens AAT’s portfolio, adding GERSTEL to its lineup of brands, including Skalar Analytical, EST Analytical, LCTech, PromoChrom Technologies, and tsHR. GERSTEL’s established presence in Europe, North America, and Asia will expand AAT’s regional capabilities.
